Sunburst Brick Screen Finished June 19th

Finished carving my architectural brick sculpture yesterday. This screen measures 40”x40”. Each brick is carved as an individual sculptural unit, so when viewed as a whole it reads as a sunburst sculpture, but on taking a closer look, the bricks don’t exactly match up. These small interruptions help to animate the finished brick sculpture.
